Whether we're spending an afternoon at Wonderland Lake, Foothills Community Park, or heading into the mountains for an adventure near Boulder, I focus on family portraits that capture your family as you are. Learn about my family photoshoot process

1. Pick a date

Contact me to choose a date for your family photoshoot and secure it with a $150 deposit (which applies toward your session fee). We’ll also choose a beautiful Boulder location that works best for you.

2. Let loose

On the day of your family photo session, your only job is to arrive ready for a great time in Boulder! I’ll come prepared with a mix of poses, prompts, and games specific to your family group to encourage natural laughter and interactions.

3. Relive the magic

Get a high-resolution gallery of individually edited photos delivered straight to your inbox. The files are yours to download, print and share.

Planning Your Boulder Session: Frequently Asked Questions

  • Some of my go-to Boulder spots for family photos are Chautauqua Park, South Mesa Trailhead, NCAR, and Bobolink Trailhead. I’m always open to new locations!

  • Yes, Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) strictly requires commercial photographers to hold an active permit. Don't worry—I completely handle this for you! I carry a full, up-to-date Boulder OSMP commercial photography permit, so our session is 100% legal, relaxed, and worry-free.

  • Always! As a pet lover, dogs are central to the family story. We will just want to choose a dog-friendly trailhead (like South Mesa or certain trails at Chautauqua) and ensure we follow local Voice and Sight tag rules or leash laws depending on the specific spot.

  • No extra travel fees at all. Even though I am based right down the road in Golden, Boulder is a core part of my service area.
